Trinidad Jame$ and Saucony have announced the release of their collaborative Hommewrk x Saucony Jazz 81. The shoe was unveiled back in August when Dad gifted pairs to his fellow Full Size Run co-hosts on the show’s season 10 finale.

Breaking new grounds, this is Saucony’s first sneaker collab with a musician, as well as Trinidad’s first sneaker collab ever. Celebrating the rapper’s West Indian heritage, the Hommewrk x Saucony Jazz debuts in “Sorrel Red,” inspired by the hibiscus drink made in the rapper’s home country of Trinidad and Tobago. Deep red hues dress the tumbled leather and premium suede upper, while pink from the hibiscus flower dresses the translucent TPU toe box, heel tab, and Saucony’s “river” logos. Additional features include a hibiscus flower embroidered on the back of the tongue, Hommewrk branding debossed on the tongue and printed on the heels and insoles, and gold lace aglets.

A limited amount of pairs will be available this weekend at ComplexCon 2021 in Long Beach. The booth is executed in all-red and is features a one-room schoolhouse layout, inspired by Hommewrk’s emphasis on communal learning. Following ComplexCon, the school fixtures and co-branded school supplies will be donated to the Crete Academy, a non-profit charter school in South Central Los Angeles aimed at serving students experiencing homelessness.

The Hommewrk x Saucony Jazz 81 “Sorrel Red” launches globally on Black Friday, November 26th on saucony.com and at select retailers.
