Original Story (03/21/22): After dropping the “Pistachio” colorway, UNION Los Angeles has now announced the release of the second colorway in its Nike Dunk Low “Passport Pack.” This time, Chris Gibbs and the team put a modern twist on the classic “Argon” colorway.
All three colorways in the “Passport Pack” pay homage to a region-exclusive Dunk from the early ’00s. The pack serves as an ode to global exploration, as Gibbs would travel the world to get rare pairs, such as the “Argon” Dunk Low that originally released in 2001 exclusively in Japan. The UNION version features a ripstop upper with stitching left unfinished and reflective detailing, though underneath is a premium leather base. Removing the ripstop reveals the OG “Argon” colorway in all its glory.
