Virgil Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” at ICA Boston opens to the public this Friday, July 2nd. Ahead of the opening, we have a preview of some of the Off-White merch that will be available at the exhibit’s “Church & State” pop-up gift shop.
Photos shared by Boston-based stylist and model Chrissy Spacely reveal a black hoodie with “Figures of Speech” branding across the chest and a grim reaper graphicon the back. A couple graphic tees in green and black are also previewed.
Abloh himself shared some images of the exhibit on his IG stories, along with some additional merch items such as a green exhibit poster, an iPhone case, a mug, earrings, and bags. In these images, Virgil Abloh is spotted wearing a special “Hard Lemonade” edition of the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1, which features a black midsole and black overlaces not seen on the standard “Lemonade” version that will be worn by the museum staff. This is similar to the blue “MCA sample” pair that Virgil wore in early 2020.
